Many people sell items through eBay everyday. Most people treat eBay as an online yard sale, but others make it a serious business to sell products through this medium. There are multiple books written on the subject, so new eBay users should not have a hard time finding resources for tips and tricks.
3. Freelance
If you have talent, you can use that talent to make money on the Internet. Writing, designing, website development, consulting and account management are all examples of talents you can use to make money online. Various sites connect freelancers with clients.

You may think that blogs just virtual journals, but many people make a serious living blogging professionally. Surveys are a known way to make money, but not an effective way. On average, survey takers only make a few cents or dollars per survey. The highest paying surveys I have personally ever seen only offered three dollars. These surveys were long and tedious, but some people enjoy this form of work.
